Headaches after venlectine, can I take ketoprofen?

I have been using venlectine (37.5 mg) for two days and from the beginning I have headaches (frontal lobe and occiput). I know that this is one of the most popular side effects of this drug. Will these pains stop when the body gets used to the drug, or can the pains intensify with the planned increase in the dose of the drug in two weeks (up to 75 mg)? Can I use ketoprofen with this medicine temporarily to relieve pain? Paracetamol, unfortunately, does not help.

Like all medicines, Venlectine (the substance Venlafaxine) can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue are very common ailments when taking the drug. It is worth being patient if it is an unbearable pain - most likely, they will pass after 2-3 weeks. Ketoprofen is not recommended for use with Venlafaxine because it increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. If paracetamol does not work for you, please: -check if you took a dose of 500mg, if so, you should take 1000mg at a time (2 tablets of 500mg), this will be the maximum analgesic dose; -or try preparations with paracetamol and codeine (Solpadeine, Antidol). If there is no improvement in health, you should contact your doctor to change the drug. Regards :) https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/bol-glowy-i-migrena
