Can I feel side effects if I stop taking Setaloft 50 mg?

Good morning, I decided to stop setting up Setaloft 50 mg tablets for Anxiety Neurosis, I have now been taking half a tablet or 25 mg for several days, I have been taking this drug for many years. My question is, can I experience withdrawal symptoms? I suffer from such things as: weakness, fatigue, nausea, I have weakened coordination, a feeling of unreality. But it is for production, the only question is whether it is due to a reduction in dosage? Thank you in advance for your reply. Best regards

Yes, you may experience withdrawal symptoms. The chance of their occurrence depends on the dose and time of taking the drug. The longer the time and higher the doses, the greater the risk of side effects. You did the right thing by halving the dose of the medicine. Symptoms usually pass within a few weeks, and they can be, m.in, dizziness, tinnitus, problems with concentration, nausea, vomiting. After reducing the dose by half, you do not have to go straight to complete discontinuation of the drug. You can try to use at a later stage, e.g. 1/3 tablet. There is a possibility that this will reduce side effects. If symptoms do not go away within the first two months or new ones appear, I encourage you to consult your doctor.
