Does multivitamin juice interfere with the effectiveness of contraception?

Hello. I take birth control pills and recently accidentally drank a few sips of multivitamin juice that contains 6mg of vitamin C. Will this weaken the effectiveness of hormonal contraception?

No, multivitamin juice does not interfere with the effectiveness of contraception - the vitamin C present in it is present in such a small amount that it has no effect on protection against pregnancy. Only a dose of vitamin C reaching 1000mg per day is able to realistically disturb the effectiveness of contraception. However, please try to drink the tablets always use water and not juices. I am attaching a study that may prove useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
