I confirm your findings, the manufacturer is withdrawing Valdoxan from Polish, but it is and will be available throughout the EU. In addition, I was able to learn something interesting. Agis is part of the Serviera Group and also produces agomelatine - the drug Agomelatine Agis. I suppose the production process looks the same and they use Servier's solutions. I compared in the pharmaceutical data the list of excipients of both drugs and it is identical! With the difference of one component of ink. Good morning Mrs. Monika I talked to a person from Servier and indeed the drug will no longer be available in Polish pharmacies. You can still get it in hospitals but not in pharmacies on sale. I managed to get one package with a date until the end of September in one Warsaw pharmacy, which ordered the drug for me from the wholesaler. This was the last pack available. I decided to try generic. I bought the packaging of the manufacturer Krka. I'll give it a chance. Nevertheless, after the holidays, I will ask the doctor for a cross-border prescription. Valdoxan/Thymanax seems to be available there.

I found one package in Konstantynów Łódzki, but with an expiration date until September this year. I am also from Warsaw, so it's a bit far away, but I will go, because I have no choice. I understand that since generics are available, it is impossible to bring a drug for targeted import, but I wonder about the possibility of a cross-border prescription, whether having such a prescription in electronic form I can ask a friend in Germany to buy the drug, and what the whole procedure looks like. Naturally, in order to maintain the continuity of treatment, I have to take generic now, but if I can have a choice, I would definitely prefer to take the first and original drug, i.e. Valdoxan.
