What does the abbreviation spp. mean. "Ureaplasma spp."?

Hello, I received a positive result "Ureaplasma spp" from what I read are its two varieties U.urealyticum and U.parvum, then what is skrot spp? Is this another variation? I bought a package in Bruss on chlamydia, (mycoplasme/hominis and genitalium), I Ureaplasme sp, does my result only indicate a positive smear of bacteria but without a specific variety of DNA?

Abbreviation spp. comes from the Latin word species. This means the detection in the material of bacteria of the genus Ureaplasma, without marking a specific species. For the implementation of therapy, it does not matter what species we are dealing with. Infection very often proceeds asymptomatically, and if left untreated can lead to consequences. In case of infection with this bacterium, antibiotic therapy is used, which is very effective and gives a chance for a complete cure. For the treatment of Ureaplasma, tetracyclines or erythromycin are used.
