Hello, I suffer from hypertension and I take Lercan in the morning and Dopegyt in the evening. Recently, due to swelling of the foot and the exudate found in it, the orthopedic doctor prescribed me Vessel Duo F twice a day. Can I take all three medications in this situation? Do they interact? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Methyldopa contained in Dopgyt may potentiate the effect of anticoagulants, increasing the risk of bleeding. Since Vessel Due F contains sulodexide, a substance that has an anticoagulant effect, the concomitant use of both medicines is only allowed under the supervision of a doctor who will assess whether the benefits of the concomitant use of both medicines outweigh the possible risks for the patient and whether treatment can be continued or whether it will need to be modified. We wrote more about whether taking several drugs at the same time can be dangerous in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-przyjmowanie-kilku-lekow-jednoczesnie-jest-bezpieczne
