Can Loperamide be taken daily or almost every day?
Hello. I go abroad to work on the harvest for 5/6 weeks. Last year, I had diarrhea almost every day and several times a day, I don't know why - I didn't stress about work. This year I'm taking loperamide with me. If necessary, can it be used daily or almost every day? I have to survive this period somehow, and diarrhea will make it very difficult for me. I have no idea how else I can help myself, at the very thought breaks down. Please reply, greetings.

Loperamide should not be taken constantly. Continuous treatment should not last more than 2 days. Diarrhea could be caused by a change in the bacterial flora - a change in water or a change in the time of eating. Perhaps when working on the harvest you often remained in one position (e.g. contracted, with your belly pressed) or you drank too little water. All this may have contributed to diarrhea. Perhaps in the first place it is worth implementing a probiotic. Its reception can be started as early as a few weeks before departure.
