The drug Doxepin is a preparation in the form of capsules containing in its composition doxepine - a drug belonging to the group of tricyclic antidepressants. The product increases the uptake of monoamines (m.in norepinephrine, serotonin) in the nervous system, which improves the patient's health and well-being. Cital is a product in the form of tablets containing in its composition citalopram - a substance belonging to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. The drug, like Doxepin, increases the uptake of serotonin in the nervous system, thanks to which it also improves the patient's health and mood. Both preparations have a beneficial effect in the treatment of depressive disorders, and Doxepin is also used in the treatment of neurotic and anxiety disorders.
