Saxenda contains liraglutide and Ozempic contains semaglutide. These are slightly different substances, but belonging to the same group of drugs (GLP-1 analogues). It may happen that the patient reacts worse to one of the substances and better to another. However, it is a different drug, so you should make a decision about its use after consulting a doctor. I leave a link to the text about the above-mentioned drugs: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/edukacja-diabetologiczna-pacjenci-pytaja-farmaceutow-o-cukrzyce and a link to a video that may interest you:

In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

Patients may experience side effects most often related to the digestive system (flatulence, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea). Sometimes there are also skin reactions, for example. These symptoms can occur with both Saxenda and Ozempic. They do not have to appear in every person. They often subside after some time.
And what was the bad reaction to saxendo?
