How to store Nuvaring correctly?
Good evening. My nuvaring was in the fridge. While making the dough I disconnected the cable from the refrigerator from the current for a maximum of 15 minutes and my disc was lying there. If a slight moisture appeared on it, will it not reduce its effectiveness? It is there in the original packaging, i.e. an aluminum sachet. All the time it is closed I did not open it.

The situation described above certainly did not have a significant impact on the effectiveness of the drug. Because the drug after release can also be stored at a temperature of up to 30 ° C for a maximum of 4 months (from the date of purchase at the pharmacy). To protect Nuvaring from light and moisture, it is enough to store it in its original packaging, i.e. in an aluminum sachet. The sachet is made of aluminum foil, covered from the inside with low-density polyethylene. What protects the drug from moisture.
