Do herbal preparations used externally affect hormonal contraception?

Hello. That because I take birth control pills for a short time, knowing that there are different herbs and so on. Which reduce their effectiveness I prefer to make sure that the ingredients contained in the face wash gel, i.e. sage, biotin, burdock and zinc, reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive pills? And does lemon applied pointwise applied with an ear stick for eczema also have any effect on hormonal contraception? Best regards.

Preparations applied externally to the skin do not affect the drugs used, in this case the contraceptive pills. About what oral preparations should be avoided when using contraceptive pills can be read in the following article: - https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji.
