Good morning. When eradicating helicobacter pylori, is the doctor's recommendation as to the amount of texibax appropriate? I have mild gastritis and a positive hp test. I am 22 years old. It seems to me that 80mg texibax per day is some kind of horse dose. Would 2x20mg texibax be enough for this treatment as in the leaflet? Doctor's recommendation: - Pylera 4x3tabl for 10 days - Texibax 40mg 2x1tabl 30min before meals for 10 days, then 1x1tabl - Tributron 2x1kaps (1op 30 caps)

The doctor has the right to use the drug on the basis of his best knowledge and experience, and not on the basis of the manufacturer's indications. The use of high doses of esomeprazole (here: Texibax) is a common therapeutic practice and increases effectiveness. Please use the medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.
