Is there a possibility that after a break in taking birth control pills and returning to them, I could gain weight?

Good morning, is there a possibility that after a break in taking birth control pills and returning to them, I could gain weight? My feedback and movement have not changed and even improved, but I see that I have gained weight and previously with these pills I had no problem.

To @anov: it is difficult to answer unequivocally. If you have previously tolerated the tablets well, then theoretically the same or similar reaction should be when you resume taking the product. However, it cannot be completely ruled out that there were some changes in your body during the break that were important. The occurrence of side effects is individually variable and sometimes it is not known why a particular side effect appears in this person, sometimes even after a long period of trouble-free use.

Clear. However, if you take one pill for a few years and have a break in taking them, can it occur even though it was not so before?

The effect of hormones cannot be excluded, however, individual products may have a statistically different probability of affecting body weight. For example, for one of the preparations, fluid retention and weight changes may occur in less than 1 in 100 people. The greatest impact on weight is the caloric content of food and energy expenditure. User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
