Could a GP issue a prescription for a dental antibiotic?

Hello. This morning I woke up with swelling of the upper gum and cheek on the right side caused by a damaged tooth. In this situation, could the GP issue a prescription for an antibiotic after seeing this, or can only a dentist do it? Best regards.

It is difficult to assess your current clinical condition on the basis of such a short description. I encourage you to make an appointment with a doctor - the easiest way will be to get to a family doctor who will adjust the treatment according to your current clinical condition. If you are unable to get to your primary care doctor, the gdziepolek.pl Service allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with your doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I also encourage you to read the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie
