Good morning, I would like to ask if the drug ondansetron bluefish taken for vomiting on an empty stomach raises blood sugar?

The use of Ondansetron alone does not raise glucose levels. Hyperglycaemia (elevated blood sugar levels) may be the result of vomiting. It is worth knowing that fever and increased excretion of water (e.g. vomiting) cause the concentration of glucose in the blood to rise (due to the higher concentration of blood). Thus, the observed increase in blood sugar levels may not be due to taking the drug, but to vomiting, for which this drug is used.
