Good morning, the inhaled drug Miflonide contains budesonide, a glucocorticosteroid with a strong, topical anti-inflammatory effect. This drug is used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), i.e. inflammatory diseases. In the case of these diseases, smoking, including smoking e-cigarettes, is not recommended, as this may lead to the need to increase the dose of the drug, due to a worse response to the treatment used. All kinds of impurities that we inhale can be responsible for the development of inflammation and bronchospasm. These pollutants also include water vapor generated when smoking an e-cigarette. You have to reckon with the possibility of bronchospasm caused by the heated water vapor itself, as well as trace amounts of formaldehyde or acetaldehyde acrolein produced during the combustion process of propylene glycol contained in the e-cigarette liquid. For my part, I would like to stress the need to rinse the mouth after each application of Miflonide, which will prevent fungal infections of the oral cavity. In addition, I would like to draw your attention to the need for regular use of Miflonide, because only such use will bring therapeutic benefit.
