Hello. I am 38 years old. I have been taking Triplixam 5, 1,25, 5 for less than 2 months due to hypertension. At the moment I have a pressure of about 127/78/75. But somewhere for about 2 weeks I have had trouble sleeping. I fall asleep without a problem but I wake up around 3 or 4 am and I have a problem with further sleeping. Could this be a side effect of the drug Triplixam. I do not take other medications I have never had problems sleeping.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, sleep disturbances are an uncommon side effect documented while taking Triplixam. The severity of side effects may vary depending on the current condition of the patient, the dose taken and the individual characteristics of the patient. In order to reduce problems with the appropriate length of sleep, you can try taking preparations containing melatonin, which regulate the period of sleep and wakefulness and increase the comfort of sleep.
