The doctor told me that I should take Norprolac with the last bite of dinner and nothing later. Today I forgot about it (after half a year of taking the drug) and ate the cake after half an hour from taking Norprolacu. Can there be any side effects?

A one-time eating of the cake half an hour after taking Norprolac will most likely not have negative consequences. Norprolac should be taken once a day before bedtime with a small amount of food. This is due to the fact that very common side effects of this drug are nausea and vomiting. Therefore, it is recommended to take quinagolide (or quinagolide - the active ingredient of Norprolac) with a meal, since food reduces the risk of irritation of the gastrointestinal tract. Overeating at night is generally not recommended, and in the case of Norprolac it could further increase the risk of these side effects. The substance itself after oral administration is quickly and well absorbed.
