Good morning. The doctor prescribed me Flucorte 50mg for ringworm of the throat. I wanted to ask if it was an antibiotic and if I should use a probiotic at the same time? Please answer: (

Flucorta is not an antibiotic, it contains fluconazole - an antifungal compound. The drug can be used to treat infections caused by pathogenic fungi. The preparation does not affect bacteria, therefore it does not destroy the natural microflora and a probiotic is not necessary.
