Cold symptoms pass on their own and do not require treatment. If they are very bothersome, then preparations can be used that will relieve individual symptoms, e.g. nasal spray with xylometaozlin (e.g. Xylorin, Sudafed Xylospray HA), which will stop a runny nose or lozenges (e.g. Isla, Cevitt), which will moisturize the throat, relieve irritation and cough.
