The appropriateness of using a given drug, in a given case, is decided by the doctor on the basis of a benefit-risk analysis. When taking Sirdalud, it is not recommended to try to have a baby. Studies conducted on animals have shown a harmful effect of the drug on the developing fetus, so it is recommended that sexually active women of childbearing age use an effective method of contraception during treatment and for 1 day after its completion. The drug lasts in the body for a very short time, so after such a short time after the end of the treatment, you can try to have a child, and the previously undergone treatment will not affect its development.
