Should I take the pill after if I'm using birth control pills and the condom broke during intercourse?

Yesterday, during intercourse with a boyfriend, a condom broke. The ejaculation ultimately did not happen in me. We use double contraception, i.e. in the meantime I take one-component contraceptive pills. We are thinking about the tablet the day after. I would like to know whether in this situation taking it is unnecessary, or whether we should reach for it. And if we reach, how long will my pills be weakened? When will full protection return?

If you use the contraceptive pill correctly, the probability of getting pregnant is negligible. I enclose an excerpt from our article (https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/tabletka-po-czyli-antykoncepcja-awaryjna) in which we answer your question: "If you use hormonal contraception (pill, patch or disc) after taking the "tablet after" you can continue to use it. However, it should be remembered that ulipristal acetate (e.g. EllaOne) can reduce the effectiveness of regular hormonal contraceptives and until the start of the next menstrual cycle you can not rely on them and additional protection is necessary." Taking Escapelle does not impair the effectiveness of birth control pills: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27577/escapelle-tabletki/ulotka
