Both of these drugs belong to the group of corticosteroids, i.e. anti-inflammatory drugs. They also have an antiallergic effect. Although they belong to the same group of drugs, they contain other active substances. Alvesco has cyclesonide in syntax, while Flixotide has fluticasone propionate. Both Alvesco and Flixotide have a good safety profile - doses taken inhaled are small and with proper use are fraught with a very low risk of side effects. Both drugs have a similar profile of action, but I have no information from you whether the drugs have been prescribed for concomitant use. However, as I mentioned earlier, drugs belong to the same group and it is worth carefully reading the guidelines for the use of drugs given by the doctor so that there is no unnecessary duplication of doses of steroid drugs. Please note that the doctor's recommendations are justified by the patient's state of health (e.g. significant severity of symptoms), so I do not provide comprehensive information on the use of both drugs here. You can read about the safety of steroids here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-sterydy-sa-bezpieczne I also encourage you to read the leaflets of Alvesco https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/4039/alvesco-160-aerozol/ulotka and Flixotide https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/30342/flixotide-aerozol/ulotka
