The drug Bactrim has an antimicrobial effect and can be used m.in. to treat infections of the genitourinary system, I do not find information that it has been shown that this drug can contribute to vaginitis. As an antibacterial drug, it can affect the bacterial flora in the vagina. Perhaps unpleasant symptoms may be associated with changes in it.
