Intimate problems such as vaginal pain and itching may result from the use of the antibiotic Clindamycin MIP 600. Antibiotics, showing antibacterial activity, lead to the death of bacterial cells, both pathogenic and those performing useful functions in the body. The latter are located, m.in, in part of the digestive tract and in the vagina, where they support the maintenance of an appropriate environment for physiological reactions. Disturbance of their balance can lead to the appearance of fungal infections, so it is very important to use probiotic preparations when taking antibiotics that replenish deficiencies of "good" bacterial flora. However, remember to take them with an interval of at least 2 hours after taking the antibiotic. Therefore, if you did not use probiotic preparations during the first 3 days of taking the antibiotic Clindamycin MIP 600, they should be included in the therapy. In addition, in order to cure an intimate infection, probiotic preparations can be used vaginally, and in case of worsening of symptoms, preparations for fungal vaginal infections available in a pharmacy without a prescription. If the symptoms would be very disturbing and intensifying for you, you should consult a gynecologist.
