1. Does berberine belong to the group of adaptogens? 2. I could ask for a few adaptogens to be presented (omitting ashwagandha, gotu kola and Rhodiola rosary)

To @Kasia: In the available medical literature I do not find information about the interactions of Asian pennywort (so-called gotu kola) with berberine. I enclose a thread that may interest you: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/49896/berberys-czy-w-aptece-moge-kupic-berberyne-i-ktory-preparat-najlepiej-stosowac Examples of preparations from the pharmacy that contain gotu kola extract can be found here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/substancje/wakrota-azjatycka
Hi I have a question whether you can combine berberine with gotu kola

1. Berberine is an alkaloid component of barberry that is found in the roots, rhizomes, stem and bark. It is characterized by many properties, but above all by lowering lipid levels and improving insulin sensitivity. It does not belong to the so-called group of adaptogens. 2. Adaptogens are compounds that have a beneficial effect on our mood, help to cope with stress, facilitate concentration and learning. Their source may be plant extracts, e.g. from ginseng, eleuterokoka prickly pear, safflower generous, Rhodiola rosea or Chinese lemon.
