Is it possible to combine Lorafen and Pregabalin?

Hello. I have these questions. I take lorafen, wean. The doctor wants to give me Pregabalina for this, but another psychiatrist earlier said that absolutely not, the leaflet is the same. Generalized anxiety, strong vegetative. Is it allowed? More than that, Dr. is a person who can't be told anything. Or is there a similar drug to Pregabalin, which can be combined with lorafen (to finally stay on an effective drug for very strong anxiety and go down with benzo? And the second question. Can Pramolan be added to Coaxil? Yours sincerely.

With the combined use of drugs such as Lorafen and Pregabalin, an interaction involving an increase in the depressive effect on the nervous system in terms of cognitive abilities and physical functioning can be expected. In practice, this means that you are likely to experience deeper sedation, but you may also experience or worsen ailments such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating. Some patients, especially the elderly, may experience a deterioration in their ability to think, evaluate and coordinate motor. It is the competence of the doctor whether he decides to intensify the effect of the action, or rather recognizes that in the case of a given person it will not be beneficial. It is therefore an individual matter. In your case, it is also important that you have to discontinue Lorafen, so it is not about long-term combined therapy, but about replacing one drug with another. The use of lorazepam for a long time can lead to mental and physical dependence. The risk of developing addiction increases with increasing the dose and duration of treatment. Attempts to change the therapy therefore seem justified, but in this respect it is necessary to comply with the guidelines from the psychiatrist. Similarly, the drugs Coaxil and Pramolan - although there is no information about a direct interaction, it is the doctor who decides whether it is worth combining these two drugs despite some similarities in action.
