When will the bleeding while taking Depo-Provera stop?
Good morning. Last week on Tuesday I took the last contraceptive pill yasmin and on Wednesday I took an injection of depo provera. After a week for one day I had brown spotting and then I bled a little, it all lasts for 3 days. Is this small bright red bleeding about to stop?

Most women taking Depo-Provera have bleeding disorders, such as irregular or unpredictable bleeding or spotting during the cycle. With the time of use of the drug, irregular bleeding occurs less often, and in many women there is a disappearance of menstruation. Unfortunately, the frequency and length of such bleeding is an individual matter and it is impossible to clearly determine when it will stop. I will add that bleeding is not as abundant as with normal menstruation or in a break for bleeding. On the first day it was brown and then light red and not bloody
