I suppose it is about the drugs Pitamet and Roswera (there is no such drug as "rosveta"). if so - please read on. Both Pitamet and Roswera contain substances belonging to the group of statins. The active ingredient of the drug Pitamet is pitavastatin, and the drug Roswera - rosuvastatin. The mechanism of action in the case of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) is the same - the inhibition of an enzyme that is involved in the formation of cholesterol. However, the listed drugs are not equivalents and cannot be used interchangeably without consulting a doctor. Pitavastatin is one of the newer statins, it has some unique properties (e.g. low potential for interaction). It is a strong statin, hence doses of 2 mg or 4 mg are sufficient.
