In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

The medications you take do not cause hypoglycemia. Metformin (Metformax) generally speaking sensitizes cells to secreted insulin, and semaglutide (Ozempic) stimulates cells to secrete insulin, but only in response to a meal and an increase in sugar levels, and besides, it helps in the loss of excessive kilograms. To find out if your sugar level is too low, you need to measure it with a glucose meter or use a glucose monitoring system (e.g. Freestyle Libre or Dexcom sensors - there are also others available on the market). Symptoms of low sugar levels are m.in: trembling hands, dizziness, a feeling of distraction, cold sweats, sudden "wolf" hunger, cotton wool legs, anxiety, sometimes agitation, pallor of the skin, faster heartbeat. However, in order to actually know if you have low sugar, and this is not, for example, a situation of just high stress - you have to measure sugar. If it is below 70 mg / dL, it is recommended to eat or drink 15g of simple sugar - this is, for example, 3/4 of juice in a carton. And after 15 minutes, measure the sugar again. If it is still low - drink the juice again. If in your situation Ozempic was prescribed not only because of the results of sugar, but also overweight or obesity - it is the loss of excessive kilograms and healthy eating habits that will be the basis for getting rid of insulin resistance. I highly recommend visiting a dietitian or psychonutritionist and applying small changes. First of all, eating as many calories as you need, and besides, checking how the right order of eating affects your condition. For example: when we have vegetables, groats and chicken for dinner - first we eat vegetables (preferably raw), then chicken, and finally groats. If you use a glycemic monitoring system - even just for a certain period of time, you can learn a lot about your body and make lifestyle changes that help stabilize sugar or insulin resistance problems in the long run.
