Xanax and Clonazepam may interact with a preparation containing oxycodone, as a result of which excessive sedation and increased side effects of oxycodone, including even respiratory disorders, may occur. Therefore, these drugs should not be used together. According to the information contained in the Summary of Product Characteristics, daily doses of 4-10 mg for Xanax and 20 mg for Clonazepam should not be exceeded. However, these are average values for an adult weighing 70 kg, and the size of the dose used in a given patient is decided by the doctor.
