Any modifications in the treatment of reflux or peptic ulcer disease should be made after consultation with the attending physician familiar with your current state of health. If you felt better using Gastroruss syrup or herbs, there are no contraindications for you to return to proven treatment methods. It is difficult to propose a specific replacement for the drug Famogast on the basis of such a brief description. Please note that most patients feel an improvement after 2 weeks of treatment, so a few days is too short a time to fully visualize the effect of the drug. In this case, many herbs can be used, m.in flax seeds (linseed), plantain leaves, white mustard seeds and marshmallow root. They contain mucus that coats the digestive tract, bringing relief in the event of stomach pain, e.g. in the form of Gastrosan tea: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/49014/gastrosan-fix-mieszanki-apteczne-ziola/apteki
