For @Piotr: The symptoms described are not among the side effects of Telmisartan 80 that have been known so far. Unfortunately, it is difficult to clearly state what may be the cause of malaise after its use. A link between symptoms and taking Telmisartan cannot be completely ruled out, as not all side effects, especially those that occur very rarely, are described in the leaflet. It can also be an individual reaction to a particular drug. Side effects of the drug Telam are m.in disorders in urination, frequenturia, urination at night. Telam 80/5 tablet is a two-layer tablet, it does not have a dividing line, so an attempt to divide it in half may lead to improper dosage of the preparation. According to the summary of product characteristics, telam is used 1 tablet per day. When using preparations that intensify urination, it may be recommended to use the drug in the morning, but it should be remembered that the dosage is selected by the doctor based on the patient's medical condition, any changes should be consulted with a specialist. If side effects significantly reduce the comfort of life, it should be reported to a specialist to adjust more convenient therapies.
