In the case of "overgrown" almond in children, sometimes only symptomatic drugs are administered - anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory, nasal clearing drops. Intranasal glycocoryteoids (such as the prescribed Avamys) or antiallergic and antihistamines (such as Xyzal) were probably prescribed for this purpose. Sometimes, in order to reduce the number of bothersome infections, the doctor may prescribe oral vaccines that increase immunity. If such attempts at pharmacological treatment of almond are not effective, the ENT suggests a procedure to remove the almond. The method is selected individually for the condition of the child.
