There are no contraindications to the use of the Syrel dietary supplement for hypothyroidism. It contains selenium in a well-absorbed form and black pepper extract that increases the bioavailability of selenium. Studies show that selenium supplementation causes a decrease in antibodies to thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO), an increase in the ratio between FT3 and FT4, and improves the ultrasound image of the thyroid gland. Of course, before including supplementation, it is worth doing tests for the level of selenium in the blood.
