I peeled off the evra patch in the middle of the cycle because I wanted to stop using contraception, but I changed my mind. It was the THIRD patch from the package glued correctly on Friday and I peeled it off on Sunday. I got a few days later a period. which continues to this day (today is Tuesday of the following week) IT HAS BEEN 8 DAYS SINCE THE PATCH WAS PEELED OFF When can I re-apply the patch to make contraception effective? wants to continue to use security in this form, however.

The interval between peeling off the patch and sticking another one should not exceed 7 days. You should apply the patch as soon as possible after realizing that this deadline has been exceeded and start the next cycle of contraception use. In the case of a break of more than 7 days, the contraceptive method may prove ineffective and additional protection should be used, e.g. a condom. I enclose information on how to proceed with incorrect use of the patches, the summary of product characteristics and materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka/107008 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
