Each organism reacts slightly differently, and hormonal changes do not occur overnight. In most women, the next cycle appears and lasts as standard, but also after discontinuation of hormonal contraception for some time, menstruation may be irregular or bleeding will not occur at all. Menstruation can return immediately or after about 1-2 months.
