Hello. The cardiologist changed Concor Cor to Betalok Zok. Dose the same. I got extra heart contractions. With Concor Cor I had terrible side effects, dizziness, throbbing in my temples and a headache. Can I count on the side effects to go away when changing the drug?

Concor Cor and Betaloc ZOK are not present at identical dose levels. The dose of Concor Cor is 1.25; 2,5; 3,75; 5mg, Betaloc ZOK 23.5; 47,5; 95mg. Both preparations have side effects that may occur with statistical probability. Both Concor Cor and Betaloc OCD can cause dizziness and headaches. Changing medications is aimed at improving the quality of the patient's therapy, and the side effects that may occur during the use of drugs depend on the individual patient. It is not possible to clearly determine whether a given side effect will occur in a particular patient. Your doctor has changed your medication to improve the comfort of using the therapy, you should observe your reaction to the new drug, and report possible side effects in order to further improve the therapy.
