Is spotting at the beginning of contraceptive pills a cause for concern?

Good morning. While taking the first pack of Yasminelle, I still have spotting after the 15th day of taking. Will the interruption of taking the tablets trigger an earlier period. After how many days after weaning can there be a period?will it disturb the entire current cycle?the goal was to postpone the period before the holiday but unfortunately ... is it normal or maybe the tablets are badly chosen?

Bleeding and spotting most often occur in the first 3 months of using birth control pills. This is the so-called adaptation period, in which the body adapts to changes occurring under the influence of hormones taken. This does not indicate the wrong selection of tablets. Withdrawal bleeding usually occurs within 3-5 days after discontinuation of tablets. Probably in the next month the cycle should "return to normal".
