Does blood on paper affect birth control pills?

I take the Atywia Daily contraceptive pill for about 2 and a half years. Today, after defecation (feces), I noticed blood on paper. Could this be somehow related to birth control pills? Does this somehow affect the effectiveness or absorption? I don't want to panic because I've read things on the internet. Does such a one-off situation have grounds for concern? Should we wait longer or will it happen again?

If you mean blood coming from the anus, then you should verify the cause with your doctor. A common cause is hemorrhoids or other injuries to the area. Gastrointestinal bleeding may also have another cause, hence the need to check. Self-observation is, of course, advisable. If you mean blood coming from the vagina, then after a long time of taking Atywia Daily tablets, bleeding should begin while taking placebo tablets. Repeated midcyclical bleeding is an indication for a visit to a gynecologist. I enclose additional information - perhaps it will be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-na-hemoroidy
