When to use Depo-provera, can there be regular bleeding after it?
Good morning. On Tuesday I took the last yasmin pill, and on Wednesday I took the first injection of depo provera. If I get bleeding on Saturday (as it happened on the fourth day of the break from pills), does it mean that the injection does not work? Can there be regular periods with depo prover?

The occurrence of possible bleeding does not mean that the injection does not work. You accepted it in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to change another form of hormonal contraception to Depo-provera so as to ensure the continuity of contraception. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, during the use of Depo-provera, fewer and fewer women experience irregular bleeding and an increasing number of them experience the disappearance of menstruation.
