A 4-year-old corka got amotax for otitis. In the meantime, she became entangled in bacterial conjunctivitis (probably from a giant runny nose). Should I give floxal drops, or can I assume that amoxycycline will also help fight purulent eyes?

Provided that conjunctivitis is caused by a strain of bacteria sensitive to amoxicillin, it can be assumed that its oral use will help fight eye infections. However, bacterial conjunctivitis, especially in children, should always be diagnosed and treated under the supervision of a doctor. Floxal can only be obtained with a prescription and should not be administered "on your own". Please contact your doctor. Until you get your doctor's advice, you can wash your eyes with saline solution. I encourage you to read the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-szybko-wyleczyc-zapalenie-spojowek
