Is it possible to use antifungal ointment and zinc ointment at the same time?
Fungal infection in the area of the bottom and genitals of a one-year-old son. It is recommended that I apply an antifungal ointment twice a day. Can I also lubricate with zinc ointment in the meantime? Best regards

Simultaneous use of ointment with antifungal action and zinc ointment is not contraindicated. Whether the simultaneous use of both ointments in this particular case mainly depends on the condition of the skin. It should be borne in mind that zinc ointment has an astringent and drying effect, therefore, when the infection is accompanied by irritation, dryness or burning of the skin, it may be better to use ointments that support skin regeneration, e.g. Linomag: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43853/linomag-masc/apteki
