CBD oils inhibit a group of liver enzymes (cytochrome P450 isoenzymes) responsible for the metabolism of many drugs m.in mirtazapine (Mirtagen). This effect may lead to an increase in the concentration of mirtazapine in the blood and an increase in its side effects. Pregabalin and amisulpride (Solian) are drugs that are removed from the body by the kidneys unchanged, the described interaction with liver enzymes does not apply to them. Combining CBD-containing products with medications prescribed by a doctor should be done after consulting a specialist, due to the occurrence of significant interactions. If there is a need to include cbd oil in supplementation, it would also be necessary to consult why the current therapy with three drugs is not sufficient.
