Side effects of Octeangin include irritation of the oral mucosa and stomach, dysgeusia, dry mouth. According to current medical knowledge, taste disorders are reversible, unfortunately there is no data giving after what time after using the drug the sensation of taste returns. In order to moisturize the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, you can use, for example, Gardvit A+E in the form of a spray or Fiorda lozenges. I am sending links to products: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/104682/gardvit-ae-aerozol/apteki#stacjonarne https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/29892/fiorda-o-smaku-czarnej-porzeczki-pastylki-lamelki-zelki/apteki#stacjonarne Please note that side effects can and should be reported. This makes it possible to control the benefit-risk balance of the use of drugs. I attach a link informing how to report a side effect of the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
