How long is clinical improvement after antibiotic therapy with Lyme disease?

I have been taking dosicyclin for Lyme disease for a week, joint pain is still present, no symptoms have passed. When will it start working?

The duration of antibiotic treatment with Lyme disease lasts for 14-28 days, and in the early stages of the disease from 14 to 21 days. Clinical improvement after antibiotic therapy is often slow. In clinical trials, a gradual resolution of symptoms was observed up to 3 months after the treatment. Some patients have pre-reaction syndrome. This is a set of symptoms that occur for, unfortunately, many months. Most often these are non-specific, generalized symptoms: headaches, muscle pain, chronic fatigue, impaired sleep, concentration, attention and memory. This syndrome is difficult to differentiate with fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. In the case of late diagnosis of Lyme disease, a long-lasting inflammatory process causes organ damage, e.g. in the joints or nervous system. In such a situation, the cure of the infection does not lead to a complete disappearance of ailments, e.g. joint pain, which are a consequence of permanent damage to the articular cartilage. Under the link there is a lot of information about the disease and all the drugs that they recommend in therapy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/borelioza-rumien-po-kleszczu

Go to the Ilads Doctor. It will introduce you to longer and more intensive treatment. And not just a monthly blurring of symptoms. Here you need a combination of antibiotics
