Is giving up birth control pills a good choice?

Please advise! She has been using vibin mini for less than a month to protect herself from pregnancy. He is not planning children anytime soon. However, I read a lot of things about side effects and decided that it would be safer for my health to go back to condoms. In addition, I feel a strange pain in my legs from the knees down, this is another of my worries. In addition, my partner works abroad and we rarely see each other. Is giving up pills a good choice?

Side effects of hormonal contraception may or may not occur. All of them are listed in the leaflet, which does not mean that every patient will be affected by them. As for leg pain, then - due to the increased risk of venous thromboembolism - you should pay attention to such symptoms as: swelling of the leg or swelling along the vein in the leg or on the foot, especially when accompanied by: pain or tenderness in the leg, which can only be felt when standing or walking, increased temperature in the affected leg, change in the color of the skin of the leg, e.g. fading, redness, bruising. If you are concerned about your ailments, I suggest consulting a doctor. When it comes to giving up contraception, the decision is entirely up to you. Birth control pills are a very effective method of preventing pregnancy - more effective than condoms. At the same time, the condom prevents against sexually transmitted diseases and does not interfere with the woman's body.
