In December I took a tablet the day after Ellaone and at the beginning of January an Escapelle tablet and then at the end of January another Escapelle tablet. I didn't have a period in March. From the 1st day of the period in April, I started taking birth control pills. Do they work?

To @Jola: The lack of a period in March does not affect the effectiveness of the pills you started taking in April. The amenorrhea in March may have been caused by taking pills after (EllaOne, Escapelle) quite often. After all, this does not affect the effectiveness of the current therapy.
Does the lack of a period in March affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills? What could it be caused by?

Yes, they work. Taking the first contraceptive pill on the first day of the cycle provides protection from the first day of taking the pills. The fact that in the previous months you used EllaOne and Escapelle does not matter in this case.
