Yes. Silaurum is a silicone gel with a gold nanocolloid for use on scars of various origins. The preparation can be used in the treatment of new and existing scars. The gel contains silicones (polysiloxanes and cyclopentasilxane), which create a transparent film on the surface of the skin, protect it from the harmful effects of external factors, provide an adequate level of hydration and create a microenvironment conducive to the correct and quick treatment of scars. The gold nanocolleide present from the preparation stimulates collagen synthesis and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
