Good morning for 3 weeks is taking the drug paroxinor at a dose of 20 mg. Unfortunately, there is still a feeling of anxiety and unjustified fear. In addition, I have tension headaches. Is there a chance that the drug will still work? Do you need to increase the dose. Greetings and please help

The effect of drugs such as Paroxinor is not immediate, and the reaction to therapy is individual. If after three weeks of taking the preparation you do not see any improvement, you should contact a psychiatrist. In anxiety disorders - depending on the patient's reaction to the drug - the dose can be gradually increased by 10 mg to a dose of 40 mg per day, and the maximum daily dose is 60 mg. However, you should not make a decision on your own to increase the dosage - you need to consult a doctor. Treatment should be used for several months. A possible side effect of Paroxinor, which is common (in 1 in 10 people) is headache. Some side effects may worsen with increasing dose, but at the same time be less intense with the passage of time of therapy. If the headache is very frequent and bothersome, then this should be reported to the doctor.
